Now is a great time to find an internship! Many businesses are looking to hire for the new year while others are planning ahead for those summer months when you might choose to take a break from your classes.
Right now there are over 70 internship opportunities available on the UV Job Board. Check 'em out to see which ones fit your set of skills and would be a great learning opportunity!

Internships Can Lead to Happiness
There was a film released just a few years ago about a man who recognized great opportunity in an internship. This opportunity came at a great cost, both financially and emotionally. Internships are one of the best ways to get ahead, but it's often the case that the intern must make great sacrifices now for greater opportunities in the future. That's the reason why we started the Internship Scholarship Program!
The Internship Scholarship Program provides funding ranging anywhere from $200 - 1000 to provide at least some assistance in opening the door to great opportunities. If you plan to complete an internship this spring, check out our website to see if you qualify to apply for 1 of 3 different scholarships that we have available.
Even if your internship isn't paying you now, you should know that eventually you will receive more than you ever thought possible. By the way, that film mentioned earlier... it's call, "The Pursuit of Happiness." I would recommend seeing it!

Intern Testimonial
Mike Cook
Congressional Intern for Congressman Chaffetz
"When presented with the opportunity to be an intern in Congressman Chaffetz office in fall of last year, I wasn’t sure how to feel. Until accepting the job I considered myself very naive in the ways of politics, and wasn’t really sure where I stood politically. I realized that for the rest of my life I will be working in management, PR, marketing, advertising, Human Resources or any other facet of business that I am interested in, so I decided creating a little political networking and experience would put a few more weapons in my arsenal and would help me to be a better citizen overall in becoming more aware of the world around me that grows more political every day."
"My internship has been an incredible road of understanding and learning. I have always been far too inexperienced in the world of politics, and this internship helped break me out of my shell."
